I found out a very good friend of mine has a rare disease. How can I help them and myself cope?

She’s such an amazing person and she just found out she’s got a rare cancer that could very well take her life. How can I be a good friend and help her cope and how can I deal with this situation myself? It’s been eating at me ever since she told me and I could use some advice.

Been diagnosed with rare lymphoma “cutaneous marginal zone non hodgkins lymphoma” but have suffered(unrelated to cancer i am informed by doctors) weird sensations down right side of body, headaches, eye floaters, fatigue, pain in neck and shoulders and back….now under investigation..what i am asking is……whats the chance of having cancer and Multiple sclerosis? is there a percentage to find.surely it would be rare??

I was diagnosed with PVNS and have had 2 knee surgeries. I’m in pain 24/7 and my life seems to be nothing but pain pills and doctors appts. I’m just wearing very thin from this lifestyle. I am exhausted. I just dont know how to hang on anymore. No one understands what I’m going through….. So how do you deal with a rare disease?

Does anyone no a rare disease that makes you extremely pale, and that there is no cure, or there is a cure, but you will most likley die anyway? i’m doing a story, and my main character is dying from a rare disease. i just dont know one.
