My mom’s friend just died of a rare brain disease. I am trying to look up more information on it but I can’t remember the name. If I were to hear or see the name I would know it. Here were her symptoms: Coma, headache, loss of concentration. She was 48 years old and she was trying to help a dying tree. She was peeling away bark and dr.s say that while she was doing so she was being infected by a rare and deadly bacteria. This bacteria is not visible to the naked eye, has no smell, and silently eats away at the brain while causing headaches and eventually death. She lived in Northern Illinois. I am wanting to do more research and yet I do not want to involve the family while thay are burying a daughter, a mother, a sister and a friend. I want to know more because my husband works around rotting and decaying wood and I want to protect him. Please help.

In summary: just as obese people and gossipers are treated as human beings, so should smokers be!
