i have it, so i know what it is, Don’t explain. I’ve know for years, obviously, that it is very rare. It isn’t even know how many people in the US have it. I was just curious to see who else has it.
I have been drinking alot of Ensure lately due to a rare stomach disease they think i have and it is difficult for me to eat even though i am starving the pain from eating the pressure it is very diffucult, so i drink alot of ensure, does anyone know if there is a limit on how much ensure you drink and what other things can i drink that will help with my hunger and give me everything i need that i’m not getting from daily food intake until this matter is resolved.
currently seeking a new neurologist in GA. the specialist at Emory have been no help and have never seen anything like it.
Symptons-motor, delay, growth retardation, diomyopathy, hypotonia, heart and muscle weakness, compramised immune system, and chronic fatigue

It is passed from mother to son on the X chromosomes
It affects over 100 know families in the U.S (so far)
Heart can go into heart failure
People have frequent heart attacks
No cure for this disease

Besides the risk of diseases (mad cow, etc.), is it unhealthier to order my meat rare or on the rarer side as opposed to well done? If so, why is it unhealthier?
Is there a difference between ordering a steak rare and ordering a hamburger rarer with regards to unhealthiness?
I have been living with a pogressive terminal disease for almost 7 years now . and i’m fairly young , but cant work due to ups and downs that come with this rare condition. it’s called PAH ( PULMONARY ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION ) i am entitled to assistance but never seem to get anywhere when i serch and search for resourses . i know others have gotten the assisted living i’m looking for . CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME ? i would so appreciate it . would love to live comfortable in my own place . by the way i am able to take care of myself . looking forward to hearing for anyone out there .

My 10 yr old cat became very sick last week. She was diagnosed with a serious & relatively rare heart disease: arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia. She came home from the vet on Thurs night. Today is Sun. Her prognosis is not good, but it’s possible that her condition can be managed for a time with medication, lasix to reduce fluid & enalapril to lower blood pressure so her heart doesn’t have to work as hard. This is helping as her breathing seems ok, but she is not eating or drinking & of course is very lethargic. She drank some water on Thurs & maybe on Fri, but I have not seen her drink anything since then (today is Sun). She ate a very, very small amount on Thurs & Fri, but has not eaten since. I’ve tried a variety of wet foods, tuna, baby food. She may be dying and there may be no option other than putting her to sleep, but I know there is absolutely no hope if she doesn’t get any food or water on top of a weak heart. Any tips for getting her to eat or drink? Thanks.
I should have mentioned that I am in contact with the vet, and there is nothing they can do except force feed her, which think would be too stressful. They will not give her fluids because a problem with heart disease is accumulation of fluids in the chest cavity. That’s why she is on the lasix, which is a diuretic to slightly dehyrdrate her. Which wouldn’t be a problem if she was still drinking. I’m hoping someone has been successful at getting a sick cat to eat and drink and can share how they did it.

its called “sick cilia” its where all your cilia are paralyzed, those little hairs in your nose and throat that push out diseases. i have it, i just am wondering if anyone else has heard of it….its pretty rare and theres only like one website on it…does anyone have this or has heard of it? and if you have, what have you heard?
