can a dog suffer a staph infection duh?

    I have found that animals can suffer a lot of the same diseases that human beings have. Most of the medications that we now have or use were first tested on animals.

    I took my cat to the veterinarian once and they prescribed the same pink liquid antibiotic, that was given to my child from the pediatrician for an ear infection.

    This same cat had to take Robitussin because he had allergies and in the end, that cat died from Feline H.I.V. which he got from fighting with another neighborhood cat.
    Go figure. I miss that cat.

    So I would imagine, that it may be possible for the dog to suffer from a staph infection. Take the dog to the Veterinarian.
