Been diagnosed with rare lymphoma “cutaneous marginal zone non hodgkins lymphoma” but have suffered(unrelated to cancer i am informed by doctors) weird sensations down right side of body, headaches, eye floaters, fatigue, pain in neck and shoulders and back….now under investigation..what i am asking is……whats the chance of having cancer and Multiple sclerosis? is there a percentage to find.surely it would be rare??

I presume you’ve had a bone marrow biopsy for your doctor to reach that diagnosis, but I am wondering what other testing you have had done. If you haven’t had these, I would recommend the following: CT neck, chest, abdomen and pelvis (or PET whole body), MRI of the brain, and whole body bone scan. Without those tests to determine the locations the cancer is effecting (is it contained in the bone marrow at this point or further effecting other areas of your body?), your doctor may not know for sure if it is not the cancer causing your symptoms. Ask your doctor if you have had those test and go from there. If all is negative, you may need to see a neurologist for further evaluation.
