Certain parasitic alveolates cause human diseases including….?

a.) lyme disease
b.) malaria
c.) trichomoniasis
d.) amoebic dysentery

    If your asking which parasites cause these diseases:
    a) Borrelia burgdorferi (is actually a bacteria that is carried in der, ticks etc. where it causes no harm to them)

    b) The most serious forms of the disease are caused by Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax, but other related species (Plasmodium ovale, Plasmodium malariae, and sometimes Plasmodium knowlesi) can also infect humans

    c) caused by the single-celled protozoan parasite, Trichomonas vaginalis.

    d) Amoebic dysentery (amoebiasis) is an infection of the intestine (gut) caused by an amoeba called Entamoeba histolytica

    Allveolates have flagella or cilia. The Trichimonas vaginalis has flagella.
