I just wanted to know how to and how long to cook it without giving myself various bacterial diseases. hahaha quick help please, i’m starving! thanks.

Unless it’s fresh, and top quality, don’t cook it medium rare.
~*~Form the meat into 5-ounce patties. Then squish each one down to about a three-quarter-inch thick patty.
Heat a cast iron skillet or griddle over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes. A steel frying pan is fine as well, but cast iron retains heat better and will give that nice “crust” on the burger. Test the skillet by sprinkling some water drops on it — if they just sit there, it’s not hot enough. If they splatter and vaporize, the pan’s too hot. If they bounce around and evaporate in a few seconds, you’re good to go.
Place the hamburger patties in the pan. For medium-rare burgers, cook the patties for 4 minutes on each side. For medium burgers, cook the patties for 5 minutes on each side. Flip the burgers only once during cooking. Then place on bun & add desired condiments. Eat & enjoy!
use a thermometer…..do you likee pickles on your hamburgers….pickles are delicious
You really don’t want to eat regular hamburger medium rare. Depends on how big the burger? 1/4 pound patted thin, 3min on each side in an already hot pan. It’ll be medium, warm through.
you dont cook hamburgers ,you grill them or fry them untill they are brown outside and grey inside, the time depends on the heat of the fire and the thickness of the hamburger ,
stick a fork in them to check .but after a while you will know when they are ready,by the smell and the texture
medium rare is pink in side
A good way to get a medium-rare burger (and this is coming from someone who likes them that way) is to cook the burger on medium-high until blood starts to come up from the top of the burger. Flip it over, wait for the juices to come up on that side and then your done. You’ve got yourself a tasty medium-rare burger. A good way to get good, fresh burger is to go to your local grocery store, pick out a chuck roast and have the butcher grind it up for you. It will have waaay less bacteria in it than regular burger out of the counter. Trust me, I’m a butcher. If your going to eat medium-rare ground beef, you want it to be as fresh as possible.
Don’t do it. It must be well-done for it to be safe.
