Im 15 and have a disease in my eye called pars planitis who knows about it?

yeah.. its a rare disease and incredibely i got it when i was 10 years old! now im 15 ive lived with it 5 years of my life and i see cells flying in my eye! cool huh? lol
well yeah theyre black and theyre liek floaters and cicles with tails its kinda cool but bad.. does anybody know about this condition
and im different.. when most people get this about 80% of the time they get it in both eyes, i got it only in one of my eyes! my left… can anyone explain me something to make it clear why i might have this… in almost every case it is impossible to detect what causes this ive read alot about it but maybe you guys know more! thanks

I think I’ve read the same general informatio you have — most of the time there is no detectable cause, the rest it’s a secondary condition brought on by disease.
I did find some online medical articles (if you don’t mind the jargon) at (you have to sign up, and sign in).
There seems to be a history of a wait-and-see attitude, but I wonder if a Uveitis specialist would have a more direct approach. Maybe talk to your parents about seeing a Uveitis specialist; there’s a report on that link I posted from this year wich is about advances in treatment.
