is there a specifc charity that deals with researching rare diseases ?

my mum recently died of a very rare illness, and all i can find is US based research centres that accept donations, this means a lot to me so help would b very appreciated x

NORD is the National Organization for Rare Diseases. Did you want one that is in England? I’m not sure where they’re based, but here’s their link:
Maybe if they’re not what you’re looking for, you could ask them if they have a chapter in England or know of a charity or research facility in England for orphan diseases (which is what they call those very rare diseases).
