    Your 3 year old has a much bigger problem if his mother is
    looking here for medical advice.

    From what I know about Rabbit fever it is caused by bacteria so the antibiotics are what he needs. Garlic has excellent anti-bacterial properties but I have no good ideas on how to get a 3 year old to eat any. Anything that would strengthen his own immune system would be helpful. I wish you and your son all the luck in fighting this. Love and Light!! {O}

    Rabbit fever is a bacterial disease (caused by F. tularensis) and can be treated with Streptomycin. If this is what your child is taking, the antibiotics should work. As far as home remedies, there are none. But if antibiotics aren’t working then sensitivities on the organism should be performed, as the microbe may be resistant to the drug being given. Another option would be that there is a different organism causing the infection, thus the same antibiotic might not be appropriate.
