Some rare fatal diseases?
Me & Me
I’m writing something, and I was wondering if anyone knew any interesting, rare fatal diseases and if they did leave some details or a link to details. Thanks ever so much!
if anyone has had any experience with these, that would be great. If its too painful to tell, I’m not trying to pry.

Creuztfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) is very rare, very fatal, and very interesting since it’s not caused by a living organism, virus or bacteria, but by a protein….a prion.
I can give you some things to look into but cannot do all the searching for reference sites. A search engine can get you there.
- Cushing’s Disease (often goes 10 years undiagnosed)
- Addison’s Disease (often goes years before treatment)
- Progeria (very rare and children grow old before their time)
- Prolonged QT (heart arrhythmia)
These are what come to mind at the moment. See the link below to see if anything sounds interesting.
Adrenal conditions have to be the worst, because the medical community knows nothing about it. Most adrenal patients die each year just seeking treatment!
I am alive today due to the NADF they found my specialist for me. My GP wanted to send me to a psychologist ….when I was dieing of major organ failure!!
I lost my brother to a Es-schemic heart failure at the age of 20. This is when the heart fails to produce oxygen to the brain. He went to sleep and never woke up. I lost my son at the age of 24 to a heart attack in his sleep. 70% blockage of the heart and enlarged is the cause.
