I’m just recovering from a flu, and my dog has to go in tomorrow to get his allergy shots. The vet says I have to administer a shot every other day for a few weeks, however, my dad hates pets and says if I go, I will get sick again or catch a disease from being around the dog. Is this true. Any advice?

Throughout history, so many diseases have destroyed this world…the flu, the black plague, AIDS. it is suspected that if the Bird Flu mutates and is able to spread from human to human, it will wipe out entire populations. what can we do to keep this disease from killing millions?
I’m curious. Nothing genetic thought. Rare diseases that can be passed from one person to another, but ones that aren’t common, like a flu or the cold. Or even STD’s.
