I think the problem as to do more with the wheat used in bread than the yeast. Celiac disease is like that. Some people are just sensitive and would be better off avoiding wheat products.

Some people appear to have an allergy to freshly baked bread and believe the cause to be the yeast. Otherwise, there is no known diseases connected with baker’s yeast as used in breadmaking.

Are you thinking of yeast infection? Yeast infection can include thrush, candida albicans and a few other maladies.

Eating bread, which turns into starch (sugar) in the body can cause the above named yeast infections to grow. All sugars and starches, (potatoes, rice, noodles, bread) will increase the growth of yeast in the body.

It is the starch which causes the problems to increase, so to answer your question about flat bread, no it won’t help to eat that instead of regular bread.

If you have a yeast infection or thrush in your mouth, either get meds from the doctor or use some of the other remedies to help get it under control. Cutting back on starches and sugars and increasing acidolphus intake will help reduce the yeast growth.

None. The yeast is killed off in the baking process.
