I have a rare eye disease called ICE syndrome
Anxiety Info
You probably can’t.
Corneal transplants are not considered life-saving. And ICE generally affects only one eye.
So even without the transplant, you will not die or go blind. That makes it much less likely that Medicaid/Medicare will pay for the procedure.
Private insurance might pay some. But you’ll still be left with a hefty bill.
If there is a Lions Club in your city/area, contact them. Saving vision is their main goodworks project. They might organize some fundraisers for you.
